Contest Craze: Mini Challenge: My Top 5 2012 Books!

This mini challenge is part of Contest Craze, hosted by Cindy @ Princess Bookie!
For more info & to enter, go HERE!

  1. The Daylight War by Peter V. Brett - This is the 3rd book of the Demon Cycle and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Amazing epic fantasy series & one of my top favorites! Book summary & cover still isn't available, but it should be out some time in spring.
  2. Flesh & Bone by Jonathan Maberry - This is the 3rd book in the amazing YA post-apocalyptic Benny Imura series & although I have to wait for a year, I can't wait to see what will happen with Benny, Nix, Lilah & Chong! I can't recommend enough the series, one of the best! Book summary & cover still isn't available.
  3. Black Heart by Holly Black - This is the 3rd book of the Curse Workers & also one of the books I'm looking forward to in 2012!

    Summary:
Cassel Sharpe knows he's been used as an assassin, but he's trying to put all that behind him. He's trying to be good, even though he grew up in a family of con artists and cheating comes as easily as breathing to him. He's trying to do the right thing, even though the girl he loves is inextricably connected with crime. And he's trying to convince himself that working for the Feds is smart, even though he's been raised to believe the government is the enemy.
But with a mother on the lam, the girl he loves about to take her place in the Mob, and new secrets coming to light, the line between what's right and what's wrong becomes increasingly blurred. And when the Feds ask Cassel to do the one thing he said he would never do again, he needs to sort out what's a con and what's truth. In a dangerous game and with his life on the line, Cassel may have to make his biggest gamble yet - this time on love.
  4. Sacrificial Magic by Stacia Kane - This is the 4th book of the series. It should be out in March.

    Summary:
When Chess Putnam is ordered by an infamous crime boss—who also happens to be her drug dealer—to use her powers as a witch to solve a grisly murder involving dark magic, she knows she must rise to the challenge. Adding to the intensity: Chess’s boyfriend, Terrible, doesn’t trust her, and Lex, the son of a rival crime lord, is trying to reignite the sparks between him and Chess.
Plus there’s the little matter of Chess’s real job as a ghost hunter for the Church of Real Truth, investigating reports of a haunting at a school in the heart of Downside. Someone seems to be taking a crash course in summoning the dead—and if Chess doesn’t watch her back, she may soon be joining their ranks.
As Chess is drawn into a shadowy world of twisted secrets and dark violence, it soon becomes clear that she’s not going to emerge from its depths without making the ultimate sacrifice.
  5. The Blood by D. J. MacHale - This is the last book in the Morpheus Road trilogy that I absolutely love & I can't wait to see what will happen next! Book summary & cover still isn't available (even the title as far as I know still isn't confirmed, but I'm 99% sure that it will be The Blood).

Ok, all my picks are sequels, but what can I do with all these amazing series ;)
